The Undergraduate American Medical Women's Association is a pre-professional student organization for women interested in a medical career or in supporting women's health. This student organization is under AMWA, a national organization founded by women, for women. Our mission is to advance women in medicine, advocate for equity, and ensure excellence in health care. We achieve this by providing and developing leadership, advocacy, education, expertise, mentoring, and strategic alliances.
