Service

An important part of UAMWA is service. We hold about one service event per month. Dates and sign -ups will be posted in advance so you can get an idea of what you would like to do. Sign-ups are first come, first serve and there are varying amounts of spots - depending on the event. Remember that each hour of service is two membership points.

additional opportunities

meals on wheels

Providing seniors with the support that enables them to remain living in their own homes, where they want to be. This support is typically a nutritious meal, a friendly visit and a quick safety check.

In some communities, additional services that keep seniors healthy and safe are also offered, like pet food delivery, senior center meal programs, home repair services and transportation.

6FTCloser was founded in April 2020 in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The 6FTCloser platform has now evolved to spread love and support to as many people as possible: soldiers and veterans who fight for our freedom, teachers who shape the future of our society, parents who sacrifice the world for their children, or friends who simply lend a helping hand - everyone deserves to feel appreciated.
