I joined AMWA because it was the only organization with such a welcoming environment and women that wanted to help me succeed. This year I hope we can continue inspiring women going into the medical field! I am a competing powerlifter and love my research in circadian physiology!

I joined uAMWA after being recruited while tabling and immediately appreciated how welcoming and supportive the community is. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I knew I’d found a super supportive, tight-knit community. Now, I’m proud to serve as Co president! When I’m not busy with AMWA or classes, you can usually find me taking fun classes at RecSports.

I joined AMWA as a freshman, attending events loosely and going to the annual confernece. During my sophmore year, I became an active member and really started to find my people in AMWA. As a junior, I held the conference chair position and had a big role in planning and hosting the Region 4 conference for the national premed and medical divisions of AMWA. After finetuning my leadership skills to plan the conference, I applied to upper exec and got the vice president position! I am so so excited to work closely with Natalia and Bryanna to have a stupendous year! In my non-existant free time, I like to read, explore new places around Gainesville and form human connections with anyone and everyone! I look forward to an amazing year and meeting new people!

Hi everyone! I’ve been part of UAMWA since my freshman fall, and it has been such a joy. I previously served as Fundraising Chair and am now in my second year as Treasurer. Outside of AMWA, I work at UF’s Plastic Surgery Clinic, which I love, and in my free time I enjoy all things sci-fi and fantasy from books to movies to shows.

I joined uAMWA as a first-year student because it piqued my interest when I was wandering around the Fall Student Organization Fair. At the time, I was feeling a little lost and was looking for a community of pre-health students. When I went to the first GBM, I knew I had found the community I was looking for. I could feel the supportive environment created by the executive board and its members. At every general board meeting, social, and event, I talked to the executive board members and general body members alike about my endless questions about the pre-medical journey. Every time, I was met with advice and resources to assist me every step of the way. Hobbies/Fun Facts: I love to travel and experience foreign cultures and food. I also like to draw and create art in my free time. A fun fact about me is that I am a certified SCUBA diver!

I joined Spring 2025, and I love being surrounded by this group of uplifting women with shared goals! As outreach director, I network with local health care professionals, organize speakers for our GMBs, and design monthly workshops for our members! Hobbies: In my free time, I love running, being outdoors, and kayaking!

I started going to uAMWA events freshman year, but became a member sophomore year to meet other women who are interested in medicine, and learn more about the field! I really enjoyed the speakers, outreach, and medical/service related events. This is my second year being service director for uAMWA, and I coordinate community outreach events for service in and outside of UF's campus to encourage members to help out in the community and learn more about important community organizations! In my free time I like swimming, hiking, playing the piano, and painting!

uAMWA was the first club that I joined at UF. I joined my freshman fall, and I couldn't have a made a better decision! Being surrounded by a group of intelligent, passionate women has motivated me to push for excellence in all areas of my life. As Membership Enrichment Director, my goal is to provide members with activities that serve as fun, de-stressing distractions to help avoid the burnout that can come with a pre-health college schedule. My hobbies include lifting, concerts/music festivals, being outdoors, and updating my Gainesville matcha bracket.

I joined uAMWA back in my sophomore fall because my mentor from a different club told me about the amazing friendships and opportunities she had found through this club! My role as Mentorship Chair will be hosting the Big Little reveal and different socials for pairs throughout the year! Stay tuned for a few exciting updates;) In my free time, I love going to the beach, reading, baking, going for walks, and hanging out with friends! Fun fact, I just adopted a 100 pound Boxer puppy named Tucker!

I remember going to my first uAMWA GBM my freshman year and feeling so inspired and welcomed by the supportive environment. It became a safe space for me amidst the stress and I formed such great memories! I'll be in charge of the Instagram and Website. I love exploring new cafes and parks, and a fun fact about me is that I've been to Canada over 10 times!

I am so excited to serve uAMWA's mission as Co-Conference Chair by collaboratively planning this year's AMWA conference! My hobbies include ballet, birding, and traveling!

When I first got to the University of Florida, I was looking for an organization I could truly connect with, an organization that understood the difficulty of being a Pre-Health student here at UF. The first week of my freshman year, I was strolling through the Reitz Union Lawn, and 3 girls in very pink and very artistic heart T-Shirts caught my attention. It didn’t take too much to convince me to join after listening to them talk about how much UF uAMWA helped them find a community away from home! This is my 3rd year in uAMWA, and my 2nd as fundraising chair. It has been truly an honor to come up with fun and engaging ideas for club members to enjoy, while also making profit to contribute to the wonderful events we do here in UF uAMWA! Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cooking, and musical theater! I am so excited to kick off another year in this organization, alongside hardworking and dedicated ladies!

As academic chair, I run weekly study hours and host workshops aimed at providing uAMWA members with resources and opportunities to succeed in their pre-health journeys. My hobbies include traveling, reading, and playing tennis. A fun fact about me is I have a twin sister.
