I'm sure we've all heard of the Marston vs. Lib West Debate and have probably spent a large fraction of our undergrad time so far shoveled in one of them. However, UF being a large campus entails a variety of other places to "lock-in" and have a change of scenery! Here are some listed below:
1) Rietz Union Student Engagement Portal (Mon-Thurs: 8am-8pm, Friday: 8am-5pm, Sun:12-5pm)
When we think of studying at the Rietz, the bustling food courts may come to mind and be off-putting, but a gem lies on the 3rd and 4th floor. There's a couple different rooms in addition to general lounge area, near spacious large windows and a view of the North Lawn. It's relatively quiet in the rooms and moderate outside, and they have multiple comfortable chairs and couches.

2) Architecture and Fine Arts Library (Mon-Fri: 8am-10pm, Sat: 1-4pm, Sun: 2-10pm) Whatever you've heard of the double decker carrels are true. They completely elevate the studying experience as you're able to get a lot more comfortable with having a longer bench and two mini walls around you for support. For anyone who likes being able to stretch and move around into different positions, while still being in a quite area, this would be a great match.

3) Weimer Hall 3rd floor
Under UF's College of Journalism and Communication, this floor on the building consists of a beyond comfortable couch and certain desks. Its unique because it creates a very homely environment, more warm lighting as well, but still promotes productivity. You also get to have a view of the beautiful atrium and it's stunning during sunset.

4) Norman Hall
While the Education Library exists right nearby (RIP to the main tree), the hall its also functions as a great study spot. There's some booth-like open tables near the front entrance, bar stools with a high-top desk giving a view of a gorgeous mural, and other tables with chairs spread throughout. Furthermore, if you're craving some caffeine or a cafe aesthetic, there's an Opus Hall within Normus that accpets Flex Bucks! I hope next time you're wandering around and stumble upon one of these locations, you check them out and let us know how your study grind went :)
